She has been a visiting lecturer at East Carolina University, Craven Community College Explorations Lecture Series, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Tuckahoe Women’s Club (Richmond, Va.), Central Piedmont Community College Literary Festival (Charlotte), University of Alaska-Anchorage, and many libraries and other venues.
